Blackstar St. James 212 6L6

The Blackstar St. James line of ultra-lightweight 50-watt all-tube guitar amps and combos combine a world of traditional design and feel with modern features. The Blackstar St. James will find a wide range of applications - live, in the studio and for high-quality home recording (the units offer switchable 50W/2W/SAG power, a built-in reactive load box, three direct outputs - XLR, Stereo Line-Out and USB - and a Cab Rig DSP speaker simulator).

The St. James 212 6L6 is a two-channel all-amp combo with both modern high-gain sound and awesome clean tone with the imprint of American-made apparatus. The main panel offers classic elements in the form of a three-band EQ, volume and gain controls, a built-in reverb effect and a Boost switch that can be used to switch between the two voicings of the second channel (switchable by the included footswitch as well).

The rear panel offers three outputs to external speakers (1x 16, 1x 8, 2x 16 ohms), an effects loop for integrating your favorite boxes, and a jack for the included footswitch (switching between channels and voicings of the second channel), USB interface (B-type) for interfacing with PC/Mac and Cab Rig software, balanced XLR DI output with Cab Rig simulation, stereo line/headphone output with Cab Rig simulation, and a switch between the three current Cab Rig DSP speaker simulation settings.

Cab Rig is a next-generation DSP speaker simulator that faithfully captures the sound and feel of voiced guitar cabinets without the common IR simulation annoyances of latency or phase issues. Cab Rig lets you choose from a range of virtual cabs, microphones and their settings, as well as the style and size of the virtual room where the cab is sounded. Cab Rig is accessible from the new Architect software (in both PC and Mac versions).

Two lightweight 12-inch Celestion Zephyr speakers with ferrite magnets faithfully emulate the sound and performance of the famous Celestion Vintage 30. The combo is covered by a tolex cover, and the cabinet is made of Candlenut plywood.
