Blackstar Live Logic is a versatile MIDI switcher that lets you quickly and easily control MID devices, software or plug-ins. MIDI over USB, assignable functions and two inputs for expression pedals make Live Logic the ideal MIDI controller and USB MIDI interface. Flexible power supply is also an advantage, where you can choose between USB, 9V battery or power supply.
Customising the controller to your needs is as easy as possible thanks to the freely available PC/Mac app - simply customise the function of each footswitch and expression pedal and save the settings. Live Logic operates in two modes. In Patch mode, footswitches 1-4 send MIDI program changes (patch changes), switches 5-6 are used to browse the database (access up to 127 presets). In the Custom mode you can assign to each footswitch a MIDI message of your choice, i.e. program changes (patch changes), changes to individual parameters or MIDI Clock for synchronization with other devices.
You can also use the two expression pedal inputs to control MIDI parameters. The MIDI over USB function allows you to control DAWs, plug-ins and software sequencers/samplers like Ableton LiveTM. Live Logic can also be used as a USB MIDI interface to integrate non-USB MIDI devices into a USB setup.
Of course, the switcher's durable metal chassis and bright LED backlighting of the switches and display are standard. Ableton Live 10 Lite software is included.
