Blackstar ID:Core40 V4 (opened)

The fourth generation of Blackstar's popular ID:Core series of "entry level" modeling combos comes with additional enhancements that expand the already rich feature set. Thanks to their affordability, the machines in this series are suitable for beginner guitarists, but they can certainly please seasoned players as well.

The ID:Core40 V4 now offers switchable 1W/40W power, so you can play at lower volumes without losing sound quality. Popular features including the user-friendly interface from previous models have been retained. Once again, you can work with six channels graded from clean sound to rockier crunch to high-gain distortion, with an EQ ISF control (setting the sound with American or British character) and studio-quality effects divided into three groups - Modulation (Phaser, Chorus/Flanger, Envelope, Tremolo), Delay (Linear, Analogue, Tape, Multi), Reverb (Room, Hall, Spring, Plate).

Among the current features, you will be pleased with the possibility of streaming via TRRS 3.5mm cable to a compatible device (iPhone, Android) or compatibility with the freely available editing software Architect (downloadable in PC and Mac versions), which offers advanced editing options including backup and patch sharing (the combo offers memory for 6 user patches). The software includes the Cab Rig Lite cab simulator, in which it is possible to select a virtual cabinet, microphone and room acoustics.

You can enjoy the sound in stereo (Super Wide Stereo) thanks to two wideband speakers. As they are FRFR speakers, they will serve you just as well for gaming or watching movies. The combo also offers a USB-C connector (4-channel USB audio) for low-latency DAW recording, a headphone output with cab simulation, a built-in tuner, a Tap Tempo delay effect, and compatibility with the PB-1 Power Bank, which can power the combo for up to 9 hours (power bank not included).

The footswitch input can be connected to the FS-11, FS-18 or FS-22 footswitches (not included). The included adapter is used to supply standard power to the combo.
