The Blackstar Amped 2 is a 100-watt three-channel guitar amp with an overdrive effect and a multi-effects section to turn your pedalboard into a full-fledged guitar rig. You can put it in front of a conventional amp, use it in combination with a speaker or plug it in directly - thanks to the 1W power reduction and USB-C connector, it's perfect for studio and stage work.

The amplifier offers three switchable channels, with the USA delivering the clean, dynamic and bright sound with the solid bass bottom end of mid-60's American machines, the UK offering the low to medium gain sound and feel of popular early 60's British Class A tube amps, the Classic based on the cascading tube overdrive circuits of Blackstar machines and the 'British passive tone stack'. The Drive section comes with three voicings - Boost, Drive and Fuzz, followed by an effects processor section with three separately switchable Modulation, Delay and Reverb groups.

The Response control of the end-amp section offers three distinct and authentic responses of the EL34, 6L6 and EL84 power tubes with true to the response, dynamics and break-up characteristics of the selected tubes.

The Blackstar Amped 2 easily integrates into your pedalboard with an effects loop (serial/parallel settings in Architect software), two 9V DC outputs (maximum combined current of 500 mA) and MIDI compatibility. Four-channel USB audio with low latency, stereo TRS line output and XLR DI are available for connection to your home/studio DAW or mixer. Other highlights include outputs to an external speaker with 8 and 16 ohm impedance, a built-in chromatic tuner, and a Cab Rig DSP speaker simulation capable of reproducing the sound and feel of professionally voiced guitar speakers. More advanced Cab Rig DSP simulation editing options (cabinets, microphones, mic positions, virtual rooms) are offered by the Architect software, which is freely downloadable.

The amplifier can be used anywhere in the world as long as the specifications match the 90 to 264 V and 50/60 Hz range. A TRS MIDI to 5 pin MIDI adapter and USB-C cable are included.
