Developed and manufactured in Heilbronn, Germany, the STELLAR.45 sound transducer delivers proven beyerdynamic studio-class sound. This is due to the neodymium ring magnet as well as the high-tech copper-coated wire. The compromise between electrical conductivity and wire weight is unique. Combined with a newly developed three-layer speaker diaphragm with integrated damping layer, this has created a highly efficient transducer system that works great with all playback devices.
The innovative diaphragm structure controls the axial movement of the voice coil, ensuring that it remains securely positioned in the magnet gap even at high oscillations. Another advantage is the extensive and natural frequency response. The fast transducer response and detailed transient response produced by the low mass of the coil produces a sound that is always reliable and distortion-free, even at high sound pressure levels.
