The Behringer UV1 is a microphone preamplifier equipped with vocal processing and an integrated two-channel USB audio interface.
When it comes to vocals, sound engineers are critical and often prefer an external higher quality channel strip over the mixing console signal path. The ULTRAVOICE UV1 is a full-featured channel strip with a top-of-the-line MIDAS microphone preamp and +48V (XLR) phantom power, ultra-low noise and high gain. ULTRAVOICE UV1 also comes with a complete channel strip that includes: Compressor for added punch, De-Esser to remove hiss, Enhancer to process audio detail in the lower and upper parts of the frequency spectrum, and Expander/Gate to automatically "mute" unwanted signal components and Gain to equalize output volume. Alternatively, there is also the option of using the insert connectors (2 x 6.3 mm Jack) for external inclusion of any signal processor. Send the processed audio on via the XLR or Jack 6.3 mm balanced analogue outputs, or record it within your DAW via the internal USB interface.
