The Behringer Toro is a synthesizer that boasts two analog oscillators, each with a five-octave range and sawtooth waveform. Users have the ability to control the tuning of both oscillators and also feature beat control. Toro also offers a low-pass filter with resonance and an adjustable attack/decay envelope, allowing for rich and dynamic sound textures. Additionally, the synth includes a volume envelope with attack, sustain and decay parameters, allowing for more detailed control over the dynamics of the generated sound.
Within the presets, the Behringer Toro offers four selectable options: Toro, Tuba, Bass and User Preset, providing variety in sound coloration and easy access to different sound palettes. Additional elements such as glide, decay and octave functions can be activated via a toggle switch, adding another layer of control and experimentation over sound designs. The device also offers a Poly-chain function that allows up to 16 units to be linked together, allowing for expanded musical possibilities and experimentation with multi-layered sound textures.
In terms of connectivity, the Behringer Toro features a 6.3 mm jack format main output and a headphone output with a 3.5 mm jack. It also features MIDI In/Thru and USB-MIDI for expanded connectivity and integration into existing studio or stage setups. With the ability to be used as a complete Eurorack synthesizer voice (width: 80 TE) and with dimensions of 424 x 136 x 97 mm, this synthesizer offers flexibility for use in a variety of musical and production contexts. The device is supplied with a power adapter (12 VDC, 1000 mA), ensuring stable and reliable operation.
