The Behringer SL 84C is a dynamic microphone with a cardioid characteristic, durable body construction and a very reasonable purchase price.
Few things are as important to live performance as dynamic microphones. They bring several advantages that make them ideal just for live applications or recording very loud instruments. They are robust, moisture resistant and can achieve great efficiency in suppressing feedback. These requirements are also met by the low-cost SL 84C model. Its cardioid pickup characteristic is designed to capture the source signal directly in front of the microphone and, in turn, suppress off-axis ambient sounds. The capsule is fitted with a pop filter that attempts to minimize the sound of hard consonants, and a shock-mount system prevents vibrations from being transmitted from the microphone body when it is held in the hand or placed on a stand. The microphone delivers super-clear sound with minimal distortion and moderate lift in the critical mid-high frequency range.
A protective case and microphone holder for placement on a stand are included.
