Behringer P16-I

The Behringer P16-I is a 16-channel module with analog and optical ADAT inputs in a 1U rack-mountable design.

An optional part of the P16 personal monitoring system, the P16-I input module can be used with any analog source to convert up to 16 analog inputs into 24-bit digital audio that can be sent to P16-M personal monitoring mixing consoles. The P16-I module also features ADAT optical inputs that automatically detect and prioritize incoming signals.

The P16-I includes 2 x 8-channel ADAT optical inputs with automatic detection and priority selection for use with ADAT devices. In addition, 16 symmetrical 6.3 mm TRS Jack audio inputs with high bandwidth can be used to transfer audio from the analog outputs to the P16-M device. Using a handy switch on the cable, you can select from 4 gain positions for each channel and visually monitor signal levels using status LEDs on each channel. The digital inputs support 44.1 or 48 kHz sampling rates and provide very low latency of less than 1 millisecond. Standard CAT5 cabling supplies power and signals for up to 6 P16-M personal monitoring mixers, or you can use the included external power supplies with each P16-M. The P16-I model also features an internal power supply with automatic regulation for maximum flexibility (100 - 240 VAC).
