Behringer MIC2200 V2 is a tube two-channel preamplifier in 1U rack design.
The tubes can enrich the signal with harmonic frequencies, adding depth and character. Although this technology has been replaced by transistors, many musicians agree that tubes provide a much better sound. The ULTRAGAIN PRO MIC2200 two-channel mic/line preamplifier with hand-selected 12AX7 tubes gives microphones, acoustic or bass guitars a vintage tube feel. The signal path is complemented by fully parametric two-band EQs to help shape the sound of instruments and vocals with maximum precision and musicality.
The MIC 2200 is ideal for studio and live applications. Symmetrical gold-plated XLR and Jack 6.3 mm inputs and outputs provide maximum flexibility to the MIC 2200, and it is ideally suited for use with standard digital recorders and sound cards where analog sound and the presence of classic tube warmth will bring your digital tracks to life.
The MIC2200's controls consist of switches for +48V phantom power, Phase Reverse, Lo Cut, EQ Frequency Range and EQ In/Out; as well as Mic Gain, Lo Cut Frequency Octave Bandwidth, Level and Out controls. Accurate monitoring of output levels is provided by a twelve-segment LED meter. When used as a high-end DI (Direct Injection) box in the studio or on stage, the MIC2200 delivers flawless performance and superior signal integrity. For further tone adjustment, the MIC2200 features a fully parametric equalizer with adjustable center frequency, bandwidth and level for each channel. Both channels also feature independent phase rotary switches for maximum versatility.
