The DDM4000 from Behringer is a state-of-the-art 32-bit digital DJ mixing console packed with creative tools that makes you feel at home in its intuitive layout. Editing, saving and loading settings becomes a breeze!

Plug your turntables and CD/MP3 players into 4 stereo outputs, each with a fully programmable equalizer and kill function. Give your fingertips maximum freedom with fully programmable rhythmically synchronized multi-effects modules, a pair of high-precision metronomes and a digital interleaver with user-adjustable curve. A fantastic rhythmically synchronized sampler with real-time pitch control, loop control and Reverse function will drive your audience crazy.

Choose your channel

The DDM4000 console features 5 independent channels. Channels 1 - 4 are stereo channels with assignable interleaver and are suitable for playing with both turntables and CD players. Their inputs are equipped with their respective headphone/line switches. All channels feature 3-band digital equalizers and gain up to 12 dB, plus an unlimited suppression option and kill function. Individual channels can be monitored with headphones thanks to the PFL switch above the amp.

The separate microphone channel has a mono format and 2 microphone XLR inputs. The vocal channel features a Talk function that will suppress the volume of the other 4 channels when you talk so you can be heard over the music. The microphone channel also includes a separate effects section that can be activated at the touch of a button.

To my soul

The functional core of any mixing console is the mixer. The DDM4000's mixer can be assigned to any of the 4 channels. A 3-band equalizer with kill function is available at both ends. The sensitivity of the interleaver curves can be adjusted. In the very unlikely event that your interleaver wears out, you can replace it separately.

Take your sampling to the next level

The DDM4000's rhythmically synchronized counter sampler is a sought-after addition. The sampler allows you to record a segment of input audio and incorporate it into a loop without affecting the rhythm. After recording a loop from the sampler, you can swap CDs, play new tracks and incorporate the recorded loop into them. The transition is completely smooth!

Effects

The DDM4000 mixing console features a state-of-the-art multi-effects section that incorporates our patented rhythm technology. This technology allows the console to read/display the rhythm of 2 different inputs and apply rhythmic effects such as echo synchronized to the beat of the song. The section offers a large number of effects, e.g. Bitcrusher, Reverb, Delay, Pitch shift. Each of the effects can be independently assigned to multiple channels.

The DDM4000 mixing console is ideal for the club owner who works with multiple DJs on a regular basis. User selections such as the amp curve, effects settings, EQ, frequency kill function etc. can be saved to individual user accounts and retrieved instantly if required. This feature completely eliminates the time required to change DJ!

Swimming upstream

When you combine the DDM4000's digital operation with MIDI functionality, you open the doors of creative use really wide. For example, you can use the mixing console as a MIDI controller for your favorite DJ software - or anything else! Channel attenuators, EQ controls and buttons can be configured to send user MIDI data. The possibilities are truly endless.
