The Behringer 69 Vibe is a faithful replica of the iconic Univibe effect that defined the sound of the psychedelic 60s and became a key element of the music of famous musicians such as Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd. It was originally created in an attempt to emulate the rotating Leslie speakers used on Hammond organs, but eventually evolved into an effect that is completely unique and hard to describe.
At its core are two modes , Chorus and Vibrato, which are easily switched between using one of two footswitches. Chorus transports you back in time to the Woodstock stage and gives you the sound made famous by Hendrix in the 1960s, while Vibrato gives your guitar a pulsating effect achieved by rapid changes in pitch. The parameters of both effects are easily adjusted with the Volume, Speed and Intensity potentiometers. The box has one mono input, a mono output and a connector for connecting an external expression pedal to control the Speed parameter.
All electronics are housed in a solid all-metal chassis. The effect is wired as a true bypass, so it does not affect the pass-through signal in any way when inactive. For power supply you can use either 9V adapter or 9V battery (not included).
