The AB190 Bb trumpet from the Bach Stradovarius Artisan series is a high-end instrument designed for professional musicians, conservatory students and enthusiastic trumpet players in general. It offers the classic design, exceptional tone color, balanced response, and superb projection of Bach trumpets, plus traditional craftsmanship from the days when these instruments were made in New York.
The soundboard of this instrument is made from a single piece of hand-hammered yellow brass with a flat-finished rim. The result is a beautiful Bach sound with a larger tonal core and a wide range of tone tones. The two-piece nickel and brass valve design harkens back to traditional techniques from the New York and Mount Vernon days. Two sets of leads (plastic and brass) to the pakfong pistons allow the feel and response to be adjusted to the individual player's needs. The refined look of the instrument is enhanced by the natural lacquer finish and ornate engraving. The trumpet is supplied in a deluxe C190DBL (double case), the mouthpiece is not included.
