Description of product

The Roadhouse Faded Black E/A electroacoustic guitar from the Canadian company Art and Lutherie refers in its look and sound to instruments from the first half of the twentieth century. It is a more affordable instrument with a compact Parlor body and a semi-massive construction, perfect for fingerstyle playing - whether at gatherings with friends or on concert stages.

The guitar body is constructed with a solid front plate of pressure-tested cedar and a back plate and sides of layered Canadian figured cherry. A rosewood fingerboard is glued to a silver-leaf maple neck. Tuning stability is ensured by anchoring the strings across the TusQ zero fret in tuning machines with a 16:1 gear ratio and a rosewood fingerboard. The nice workmanship is underlined by the semi-gloss finish of the Faded Black soundboard and traditional elements in the form of a mother-of-pearl pickguard, perimeter binding and company logo on the headstock.

Sound reinforcement options include an under-cowbell piezo pickup and a Fishman preamp with volume and tone controls in the guitar's soundhole.
