Canadian company Art a Lutherie comes with a trio of guitars referring in their look and sound to the original instruments from the first half of the twentieth century. The common denominator of the guitars in this series is the cherry body and solid spruce pressure-tested soundboard. The silver-leaf maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard and, of course, a two-way bracing and a zero fret made of TusQ, a synthetic ivory material that has a positive impact on the intonation and sound of the entire guitar. The tuning is done by an open drive with a precise 18:1 ratio in Antique Brass finish. All guitars were made in Canada and are traditionally very good value for money instruments.

The Roadhouse guitars are compact Parlor models that fit like old jeans. If you like to strum, you'll be right at home on the fingerboard of this instrument, and of course you won't be disappointed with other styles of playing either. The sound is captured by a sub-cubic piezo pickup and a Fishman Sonitone preamp with volume and tone controls in the soundboard. The vintage look of this guitar is thus not disturbed by any potentiometers on the side of the body.
