The Edge Quadro is Antelope Audio's most advanced stereo large-diaphragm modeling microphone. It features two large dual-diaphragm condenser capsules, a swivel head and four channels for independent signal processing with stereo techniques such as M/S, X/Y, Blumlein and even 3D. You won't need another microphone for stereo and 360° sound recording.
The Edge Quadro heads represent a whole new level of precision and adjustability - the top head can be rotated completely noiselessly even during active recording, and both heads offer a choice of multiple directional characteristics (cardioid, spherical, figure-of-eight and everything in between). Of course, Antelope Audio's products also feature an extensive database of high-end studio microphone emulations, i.e. 18 emulations in total, where two emulations can be used simultaneously (one for each microphone head). The emulations naturally work hand-in-hand with Antelope microphone preamps and converters, where the built-in FPGA preamp compressors guarantee absolutely accurate real-time emulation of vintage microphones.
The microphone also includes Antelope microphone emulation plugins, meaning you can use other brands' audio interfaces and change the modelling settings in post-production (in VST, AU and AAX formats for macOS and Windows, iLok 2 or 3 is required).
The microphone comes in a wooden case along with a cushioned microphone holder and two oxygen-free copper Y-cables.
