Want to get the characteristic sound of Ampeg preamplifiers? This DI pedal will help you get it. It gives you a wide sound spectrum thanks to plenty of settings. On the top you'll find the Drive and Blend controls, with this circuit having its own switch. This allows you to "kick" and distort your bass line, or adjust the ratio of distorted to clean signal.
The overdrive of this pedal is called the Bass Scrambler and will give you the true "angry" SVT sound.
In the next section we find a three-band EQ, a Volume potentiometer, and Ultra Low and Ultra Hi controls to accentuate bass or treble frequencies. This circuit can also be turned on/off with the associated switch.
In terms of connectivity, the pedal is equipped with a standard input and output, a thru input that doesn't affect the signal, and we also find an XLR output with ground lift function. Also very handy is the Aux input with its own volume control and headphone output. So you can send an external music source through the box and jam/practice along with your headphone recording.
The construction of the pedal is very robust and ready to withstand all the pitfalls that concert life can throw at you.
