AlphaTheta EUPHONIA

AlphaTheta Euphonia is a hybrid innovative DJ mixing console of superior quality that combines digital clarity with analogue richness thanks to a transformer circuit designed by Rupert Neve.

Euphonia produces a sound that has never been heard from any DJ mixing console before. To achieve fidelity that accurately reproduces the expression of the music, Euphonia uses high quality 32 bit A/D and D/A converters and operates at a sample rate of 96 kHz / 64 bit within the mix processing and DSP.

All sound emanating from Euphonia passes through a transformer circuit jointly designed by AlphaTheta and Rupert Neve Designs - legendary manufacturers of outstanding analogue audio circuits and mixing consoles respected by artists and sound engineers worldwide. Tuned specifically for Euphonia, this transformer circuit adds harmonic components to music, creating a glossy and energetic sound. Low frequencies are more stable and punchy, mid frequencies, have more presence and brilliance, and high frequencies sound silky and natural. The transformer breaks down the barrier between vintage live and modern electric sound, making mixing easier and surprisingly natural, as if the recordings of different styles were originally one piece of music.

A specially developed rotary fader lets you feel the music as a whole. When you touch the faders on the euphony, you won't want to let go. To enhance the intuitive mixing experience, the unit is equipped with rotary faders that have an all-new, carefully developed design to make you and the mixing console feel like one. After extensive testing, the ideal knob sizes were selected, with elastomer applied to the outer circumference of each knob to ensure a comfortable and reliable grip as well as a high level of vibration absorption.

The uniquely developed fader mechanism also has optimum balance. When turning the knobs at different speeds, you will notice a difference in the feel of their control, as a smooth load is applied when turning the knob slowly for fine tuning, and a limited level of load is applied when turning the knob quickly to immediately reach the intended volume level. And the fader volume curves have been optimized based on feedback from many DJs, allowing smooth and natural mixing without equalization so you can focus on controlling the volume. This innovative fader enables musical expression that will move your audience and enhance your performance.

Energy Visualizer
Get an instant visual overview of the mix status and balance of song volume levels by looking at Euphonia's Energy Vizualizer. Conventional VU meters have only 1 needle meter, making it difficult for DJs to understand the levels of multiple channels at once. However, euphonia's uniquely designed mix level meter includes a needle meter for each channel, so you can visually check the levels of all channels and mix seamlessly while maintaining the groove. You can even monitor the balance of the main output by looking at the spectrum analyzer, which helps you keep mixes sounding consistent and smooth even during a long set.

The highest quality isolator
The size of the Isolator knobs is ideal for fast rotation from mid to high or low, and the moment load is perfectly balanced for quick control and fine adjustment of sound quality, while feeling not too light in operation. The cutoff frequencies and steepness are set to control and accentuate the kick, melody and rhythm ranges in a natural but crisp manner.

All-new Boost Send effect for one-handed use of effects
Add one of the built-in Send effects or an effect from an external unit to the sound of any of the frequency bands of the main isolator. Press the Boost Send button for a low, mid or high band and as you turn the isolator knob, the effect is applied to that band. This allows you to apply effects with one hand in a way that previously took two, leaving the other hand free to mix another track.

Built-in Send FX
Eeuphonia features 5 built-in surround effects and a high-pass filter, so you can easily add depth and width to your music. These effects are Delay, Tape Echo, Echo Verb, Reverb, Shimmer and HPF (high-pass filter). Not forgetting the Send/Return section, which gives you the option to connect external effects units. A dedicated knob on each channel allows you to adjust the level of sends going to the selected effect, so you can apply exactly as much effect as you need. The Time knob allows you to adjust the delay time of the effect and reverb, and has a patented mechanism developed specifically for this unit that automatically switches between a clicking and non-clicking feel depending on the selected effect. When using the Delay, Tape Echo and Echo Verb functions, the knob clicks according to BPM so you can apply effects quickly. When using the Reverb and Shimmer effects, there is no clicking, so you can turn the knob freely to make smooth transitions or minor adjustments to find your ideal settings.

Send/Return & Master Insert
The Mixpult supports both Send/Return type effect pedals and Insert type effect units (like the RMX-1000). You can use these connection types independently to create your ideal sound with different devices. Insert-type effects are applied to the Master.
