The Alesis Vortex Wireless 2 has all the essential controls for comprehensive control of software instruments, and can also be connected wirelessly to a computer. If you can't afford a Delorean to go back in time, you can do that with this controller too.
There are 37 keys with dynamics and aftertouch, 8 color-lit dynamic pads, 8 faders, a touch strip and pitch wheel. You can use the software editor to assign different MIDI commands to the touchstrip and store them in three banks. The pitch wheel has adjustable polarity.
With the Alesis Vortex Wireless 2, you can also expand your computer music studio. The software package includes the virtual synthesizers Hybrid 3, Loom 2, Vacuum Pro or Xpand!2 from AIR Music Tech as well as the TimewARP 2600 from Way Out Ware and the popular DAW Ableton Live Lite. Various MIDI parameters can be set in the Alesis software editor.
You can easily connect this MIDI controller to your computer wirelessly using the included USB adapter (it operates at 2.4GHz), and you can also connect to synthesizers and other MIDI devices using the standard five-pin output and USB.
Power is supplied via USB or the four AA batteries included in the box.
