The ALESIS Crimson II Kit is a new electronic drum kit with nine pads that boasts several features previously only available on high-end models. Already at first glance, the exclusive dual-zone mesh pads made of solid fabric are eye-catching, providing natural bounce, enhanced expressiveness and the perfect playing feel you're used to from an acoustic kit. Plus, compared to rubber pads, they're completely silent, so you won't disturb your neighbors even in the middle of the night. Cymbals with a three-zone ride and choke function to dampen hand reverberation hold the same high bar of quality. Everything is securely mounted on a premium Quick Lock Chrome fretboard. The superior hardware is matched by a packed module with a huge range of sounds, which can also be enriched with custom samples.
What does it all do?
At the heart of the whole kit is the new and improved Crimson II module with 671 factory sounds, which are divided into 74 drum kits, 54 factory and 20 custom, which can be assembled at will. You can record your playing in real time to 5 internal tracks or to a USB memory stick where up to 99 tracks can be stored. Thanks to the built-in metronome, you can also practice precision and improve your rhythm. The module contains 120 backing tracks. USB/MIDI output allows the use of virtual instruments and music programs. The USB memory stick allows you to expand the kit with your own samples in WAV format, which can be easily assigned to each pad and zone. The sonic possibilities are truly endless.
