Ideal for home playing and practice, the Alesis Command Mesh Electronic Drum Kit offers a wide range of sounds and a natural feel thanks to the Mesh mesh membranes on all elements of the kit.
Eight pressure-sensitive pads form the basis of the kit, while the snare drum and toms are dual-zone - meaning that both the sound of the membrane and the rim strike are sensed. There are three cymbals, and a bass drum with a pedal. Everything is mounted in a chrome-plated construction, which gives the kit perfect stability.
An important part of the set is of course the Command module, which contains the sounds of seventy drum kits with six hundred sounds and sixty built-in tracks that you can accompany. Of course, there's a built-in metronome, recorder and a 3.5mm jack for connecting your audio devices to jam with. There's a stereo output, headphone output, input for external devices like CD or mp3 players, and USB so you can use the kit as a software controller.
You can upload your own samples in WAV format to the module via USB and assign them to any pad.
