AKG C414 XLII

Condenser Microphone / HN080027
C414 XLII CONDENSER MICROPHONE

AKG C414 microphones have been in production since 1971 and their sonic qualities make them one of the most versatile and popular studio microphones ever.

This condenser, large-diaphragm microphone offers nine sound characteristics that are suitable for all recording situations, including orchestra, instrument or vocal recording. There's also an indicator LED right on the microphone that signals unwanted, loud peaks in the sound wave (even the shortest ones) to warn against overdriving the signal.

The C414 XLII differs from the XLS version in the capsule used, which refers to the AKG C12 microphone from 1953 and features a slight lift in the frequency curve around 5 kHz.

Specifications:

- Sensitivity: 23 mV/Pa

- Signal-to-noise ratio: 88 dB-A

- Pad: -6/-12/-18

- Bass cut: 40, 80, 160 Hz
