Description of product

The Akai MPK Mini MKIII is the third generation of the best-selling MIDI keyboard on the market, offering MPC pads, rotary controllers and an arpeggiator in addition to the mini keyboard. Of course, there is also a powerful software package.

The 25 miniature keys let you take full control of the melodic potential of your virtual synths, and eight excellent MPC pads with Note Repeat and Full Level functions make it easy to create rhythmic accompaniments or trigger samples. All in two banks.

Eight rotary knobs are provided for controlling the virtual encoders, and there's a joystick for playing with pitch and modulation.

The built-in arpeggiator offers a variety of modes and range and resolution settings. Then, on the rear panel, there's a sustain pedal input that lets you dynamically tone your playing.

Of course, the controller's compact size means it won't take up too much space in your backpack, and it's powered via USB directly from your computer.

The controller also comes with a useful software package for producing your own tracks - MPC Beats, over 1500 samples and 6 virtual instruments (Hybrid 3, Mini Grand, Velvet, Bassline, Tubesynth and Electric).

The MPC mini is now available in three colours.
