The MPC KEY61 is the first ever production keyboard instrument in the legendary AKAI PRO MPC series. It is built on a proprietary integrated system that is constantly evolving. It currently includes 25 instruments and over 100 effects (numbers increase with new firmware upgrades). Enjoy a legendary workflow built to suit music producers and musicians.
The instrument features 61 semi-weighted keys specially developed by music producers and musicians, sixteen drum pads with Note Repeat function and fully mappable touch strips or four Qlink rotary knobs. The intuitive control panel with a 7" colour multi-touch LED display then allows you to easily adjust instrument settings and parameters. Fast operation will be ensured via the 4GB Ram Quad Core ARM, you can record up to eight-track tracks and the 128 step sequencer will ensure comfortable song and groove composition.
The MPC KEY61 offers an integrated audio interface consisting of two combined XLR/TRS inputs, a high-end phantom-powered preamp, and inputs for sustain, footswitch and expression pedal. The rear panel also includes extended flexible connectivity, which you'll appreciate not only in the recording studio but also in live performance. You'll find eight CV/Gate outputs for connecting modular devices and synthesizers, MIDI In/Out/Thru, Ethernet, two USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, or SATA for user memory expansion.
