The ADAM Audio S2V is a classic two-way neafield monitor designed for small to medium sized studios and control rooms.

Designed from the ground up for the new S Series, the new woofer covers frequencies ranging from 35 Hz to 3 kHz. It features a powerful and specific low frequency response that is free of distracting distortion and characterized by a wide dynamic range. On the front of the loudspeaker, the newly developed S-ART tweeter, handcrafted in ADAM Audio's factory in Berlin, catches the eye. It is housed in an all-new HPS waveguide, whose heavy and robust construction minimises unwanted vibrations and sound colouration.

The S2V's compact dimensions hide its tremendous power. A 300 W Class D digital amplifier powers the woofer, while a 50 W Class A/B amplifier powers the tweeter. Together, we're talking about a sound pressure of 120 dB SPL (paired).

Custom-cut DSP optimizes the frequency division and produces a linear response across the entire frequency range. At the same time, it allows for custom equalizer settings and spatial configuration. The DSP module is also responsible for tweeter protection via a limiter, processing AES3 digital inputs, while extensive expandability options are also planned. Furthermore, we can find a USB port, which is used for software updates and for controlling the DSP with the appropriate computer editor.
