PRS S2 electric guitars are made in Stevensville, USA. Specifically, the S2 Vela Semi Hollow Satin Antique White Satin model is a semi-hollow body instrument with the original PRS offset body shape that is sure to appeal to musicians who prefer the sound and playability of PRS guitars while also appreciating the elegant vintage design and feel. New to the S2 model line for 2024 are pickups and electronics made in the USA.

The semi-solid mahogany body of the guitar is adorned with satin nitro lacquer. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two frets is glued to the mahogany neck with Pattern Regular profile. Position markers in the form of mother-of-pearl bird silhouettes facilitate orientation on the fingerboard.

The combination of the PRS DS-01 humbucker and PRS Narrowfield neck pickup, which combines the best characteristics of humbuckers, single-coils and P-90 pickups in a double-coil design, gives the guitar a bright, punchy sound that you'll appreciate in a wide range of musical styles. In addition, the Push/Pull tone shutter function allows you to open the coils of the humbucker to achieve a pure single-coil sound.

Tuning stability and good sustain are guaranteed by the strings' attachment in the PRS Plate Style's solid brass saddles and locking tuning mechanisms, which prevent unwanted string movement. The guitar comes in a premium gig bag.
