The McCarty 594 Singlecut Yellow Tiger electric guitar is an instrument with the soul of vintage guitars, a single-cut PRS body design and great playing characteristics. It features a slightly fuller ergonomically shaped mahogany body with a wider back and a fancy figured maple top.

Glued to the mahogany neck with a Pattern Vintage profile is a fretted rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two frets. Of course, the guitar's shorter gauge (625 mm) is embodied in the McCarty 594 model designation (24.594 inches). Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by the trademark PRS position markers in the form of mother-of-pearl bird silhouettes.

The two 58/15 LT ("low turn") "vintage-voiced" pickups offer a beautifully clean articulate sound with the warmth of both late '50s humbuckers and vintage single-coils. Adjust its character with two volume potentiometers, two push/pull tone controls (split-coil) and a three-position pickup switch. In total, the guitar gives you eight different pickup combinations, i.e., in addition to humbuckers, pure single-coil configurations or a combination of humbucker and single-coil.

Stable tuning is guaranteed by the attachment of the strings via a bone zero fret in PRS Vintage-style mechanics and a two-piece zinc and brass headstock. The tuning pegs (wing buttons) are lighter than the metal mechanics on older models and allow the instrument to resonate longer.

The guitar comes in a hardshell case.
