The Blackstar HT MK III series brings the next generation of compact guitar combos and amplifiers that offer both the vintage guitar tones of yesteryear and modern-day overdrive or high-gain distortion in a nice boutique design.
Those familiar with previous HT MK models will be right at home with the HT MK III series. Why change something that works. The HT-5RH MKIII all-tube guitar amplifier offers switchable 5/0.5 Watt power, taking the sound of the machine from the rehearsal room to the living room, two channels with two switchable voicings on each (American Clean, British Clean, Classic Overdrive, Modern Overdrive), a three-band EQ with Blackstar's patented ISF knob, which you turn to give the amp a more American or British sound, and an integrated studio-quality reverb effect.
New is CabRig's IR-based DSP speaker simulator, which lets you choose from hundreds of virtual speakers, microphones, microphone placements and virtual room acoustics settings. Settings can be saved in three presets and then recalled directly from the amplifier's control panel. This makes it easy to get a nice tube sound into headphones, monitors or a mix without having to connect an external speaker.
The rear panel offers an effects loop input/output for integrating your favorite boxes, three outputs to external speakers (1x 16, 1x 8, 2x 16 ohm), CabRig headphone/line output, CabRig XLR output, mp3/audio input, dual-channel USB-C audio output and footswitch input.
