Taylor 924ce-K 50th Anniversary + Circa 74 amp Limited Edition

The limited edition Taylor 924ce-K 50th Anniversary + Circa 74 amp includes a 924ce-K Grand Auditorium-style electroacoustic guitar from the top-of-the-line 900 Series, a Koa Circa 74 Amp transistor combo and a combo stand. The guitar body, cabinet and stand are all made from exclusive Hawaiian Koa. The edition is limited to 74 pieces for the worldwide market.

The body of the guitar is made of figured Hawaiian koa of AA quality. The koa drawing is accentuated by a thin layer of lacquer polished to a high gloss. Playing enjoyment is maximized by the ebony armrest, shaped lower body cutaway (venetian cutaway) and patented V-Class ribbing, which enhances the guitar's performance in three aspects - increasing the instrument's volume, extending sustain and improving intonation.

The mahogany neck is glued to an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets. The stability of tuning is guaranteed by the string attachment in the ebony headstock and top-quality Gotoh mechanisms with pegs in gold finish. The luxurious workmanship is underlined by a number of decorative elements - mother of pearl rosette (paua) with koa and ebony lines, mother of pearl position markers and inlay on the headstock (mother of pearl, abalone), ebony peripheral trim on the body, fingerboard and headstock, mother of pearl top inlay (paua), ebony headstock slice and ebony pegs in the headstock with gold dots.

This is a completely unique pickup method that takes the possibilities of realistic sound reproduction to unprecedented dimensions. Three specially designed independent piezoelectric pickups located behind the fingerboard are used for pickups. Unlike conventional pickups, they don't sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the grasshopper seat. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful, pleasing and responsive to the dynamics of the playing. The new preamp also makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and the volume, bass and treble can be adjusted.

The guitar comes in a deluxe hardshell case.

The Koa Circa 74 Amp transistor combo offers a maximum output of 150 watts, two separate channels for guitar and vocals with volume controls, a three-band EQ, built-in reverb (room) effect, 6.3 mm jack output and balanced XLR output, headphone output and Bluetooth compatibility.
