XLN Audio Life is a creative virtual tool and sample editor designed for automated beat creation based on the audio you provide. With implemented artificial intelligence, it allows you to create endless beats with unique sounds from your favorite moments in your life. Capture any kind of sound - whatever, wherever and whenever you can think of it with the accompanying Life Field Recorder or DAW Recorder apps. Recorded sounds are sent to your XLN Cloud and Life can work with them instantly. Just press the Randomize button until you hear something that inspires you. Life Field Recorder is a free mobile app for Android and iOS designed for recording ambient sounds. Record any sound in your environment with it and it will be instantly available in your cloud library and as an audio source in the XLN Life instrument on your computer. DAW Recorder is a plugin that you place on the master bus of your DAW, and you can use it to capture a portion of your own or someone else's track that you want to sample from. As with the mobile app, the audio sample is sent directly to the cloud so you can create beats instantly.

With this concept, XLN Audio Life aims to bring musicians an inspiring tool that supports their own creation with original personalized sounds, instead of using mundane sample libraries and ready-made loops. Life is definitely not just a simple randomizer. In the role of producer or songwriter you have the ability to greatly influence the groove and individual sounds and their variations, you can select samples to be omitted, you can effect them independently and even edit the designed pattern in a very advanced way with sequencing and rearranging options for individual beats. The instrument also includes a bank of classic kick sounds to complement the spectrum you'd probably struggle to capture with a mobile phone, as well as several corporate sound samples for instant creation. Within your preferred workflow you can work with the result in a variety of ways, there's a separate export section with a choice of several options for audio - complex mixing needs will suit Stems, where you can then work with certain parts of the beat separately (multitrack), but you can also export a complete loop to any position in your DAW in a jiffy. Or you can use MIDI.
