In designing the Revolution 6x6, the engineers have capitalized on their previous experience gained from boutique modifications of other audio devices. It's no surprise, then, to find state-of-the-art high-end components, integrated circuits or capacitors from brands like Vishay, Nichicon and Wima, as well as the company's patented Macro-MMC digital sync technology for minimized jitter and improved harmonic frequency transfer. PG-i's proprietary filtering technology guards complete power supply circuits from noise contamination, which entails the use of only symmetrical inputs and outputs.
In soundcard mode, there are two combined XLR/jack 6.3 mm analogue inputs to use for recording microphones or instrument and line sources, while digital RCA S/PDIF connectors are used to directly connect modern digital devices such as various guitar modellers and effects processors or grooveboxes, and more. In terms of listening, there are a pair of 6.3 mm jack headphone outputs with individual volume adjustment and, of course, the main output (2x 6.3 mm jack) for studio monitors.
The Revolution 6x6 comes with a rich software suite led by the PreSonus Studio One Artist DAW, as well as the iZotope Elements instrument pack, EchoMelt3 reverb effect, BrainWorx mid/side EQ and preamp EQ. Lindell6X500. Compatibility is guaranteed for Windows 7, 10 and 11 as well as macOS.
