A custom instrument made in the Fender Custom Shop in 2013 based on the Jazz Bass model 64, but equipped like an instrument from the early 1970s.
It has an ash body; a maple quartersawn neck with a U-profile; custom black binding and landmark black blocks; the pickup is in the 70s position closer to the bridge.
The instrument comes with its original case, certificate and Shop Floor Traveler - the condition of the instrument is true to original specification.
It is a used item. The lacquer has fallen off the body surface in several places (mainly due to the original Deluxe Closet Classic finish), visible where the right hand rests on the body and on the back of the body; the lacquer will continue to fall off, adding to the increasingly authentic patina. It is being sold under the BAZAAR VAT regime.
