Massachusetts (USA) instrument maker Michael Pedulla has been making premium custom basses since 1975. His MVP/Buzz, Thunderbass and Rapture models stand out for their original shape, in addition to unprecedentedly perfect workmanship. Typical is the use of Bartolini pickups in combination with active electronics. Among the most famous users of Pedulla instruments are Genne Simmons (Kiss), Chris Wolstenholme (Muse), Timothy B. Schmidt (Eagles) and Mark Egan.
The MVP is a bass with an iconic shape. It features a 24-fret through-neck, P/J Bartolini pickups that are backed by active electronics. Woods used: maple (body and neck); ebony (fingerboard).
This instrument in transparent blue lacquer carries a lot of minor scuffs, there are multiple tape bumps on the back, despite this the instrument is in perfect condition as far as playability is concerned. It also comes with the original case. The previous owner replaced the gold mechanicals with black ones (original Pedulla) for aesthetic reasons, the original ones are included.
