Noise Gate/Suppressor is one of the common parts of guitar pedalboards, where it takes care of noise elimination especially of all "dirt" overdrive/fuzz/distortion boxes. Over the years, the Boss NS-2 pedal effect has become the absolute standard. Now the Boss brand comes with a new model Boss NS-1X.
It is a new generation noise gate with advanced MDP technology, which is able to intelligently eliminate all noise without affecting the natural guitar sound and your playing feel. The Boss NS-1X offers several modes: the Reduction mod reliably eliminates noise in any general guitar riff setting, the Gate mod provides ultra-fast noise elimination so that fast high-gain riffs and techniques like tapping or sweep picking sound in full precision, the Mute mod completely mutes the guitar signal when the pedal is activated. You can adjust the detailed shape of the onset and duration of the gating using the Threshold, Decay and Damp controls. Of course, there is an effects loop for more effective filtering of "dirt" pedal noise.
The pedal effect is wired as a buffered bypass. Only a 9V battery or 9V adapter is required for power (adapter not included).
