BOSS GCS-8

The BOSS GCS-8 all-in-one USB interface is a great solution for online musicians, music educators, podcasters and general musicians who live stream and create music and visual content. The BOSS Gigcaster 8 provides a range of advanced features in a small footprint, including premium audio connectivity and the ability to control everything in real-time using physical controls (knobs, faders, pads) and a colour touchscreen.

Simply plug in your guitar or bass and play with GT instruments and effects, connect a microphone and shape your voice and voice recording to VE Series processor quality, or connect a keyboard or drum machine via the stereo line inputs. While streaming, you can mix footage from up to eight sources, including background music or your guest/student's signal. Add to that customizable features, external driver support, Micro SD card recording and you have all the features you really need as an online musician, music educator or podcaster in the form of Gigcaster 8.

The BOSS GCS-5 offers an eight-channel audio mix with a variety of tools for additional sound work, 32-bit/48 kHz quality, and a high-impedance input for guitar or bass, four XLR/TRS combo jacks with phantom power and high-quality, low-noise preamps with a wide gain range (+70 dB) for connecting microphones or electronic instruments, BOSS effects and instrument simulations taken from the GT-1000 multieffect, vocal effects and instruments taken from BOSS VE processors, presets optimized for guitar, bass guitar and vocals, stereo channels for audio from mobile devices streamed via Bluetooth, separate faders and mute buttons for each of the eight channels, eight customisable pads for audio playback and real-time effects control, stereo microphone output and four headphone outputs with EQ, including a headset microphone output, a colour touchscreen for intuitive control and handy Talkback or Ducking functions to facilitate voice communication.

The BOSS Gigcaster 5 can also be used as a 20x14 USB audio interface for multi-track recording. The Gigcaster App offers additional options for parameter editing, backup and audio file conversion. External BOSS footswitches, expression pedals and GA-FC/GA-FC EX foot controllers can be used for convenient hands-free control (external controllers not included).

The device is powered via USB or the included adapter.
