Theremin is a specific electronic instrument invented in Russia by Lon Theremin. The main peculiarity of the theremin is that there is no contact between the player and the instrument when playing.
One of the main elements of the theremin is the antenna, around which the hand moves. By adjusting the distance of the hand from the antenna, the sound is also adjusted.
If you want to experiment musically, then the theremin is a serious candidate for new equipment. This instrument can be found in classical music, experimental genres, but it was also used by Jimmy Page of the legendary Led Zeppelin (in the song Whole Lotta Love).
