The Tanglewood TSR2 C is an all-massive Grand Auditorium-style electro-acoustic guitar from the brand's limited edition line. The front of the instrument is made of Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of Indian rosewood. Thanks to the all-massive construction, the guitar will become more playable with time. Glued to the African mahogany neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty frets. The fingerboard surface is decorated with green abalone inlay.
The strings are trapped in Grover tuning machines in gold finish and ebony headstock over ebony fretboard and bone saddle. The fine workmanship is accentuated by the double-sided mahogany body binding, rosette composed of green abalone and maple rings, and ebony pegs to the fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dots.
Sound reinforcement options include an LR Baggs Stagepro Element active preamp in the guitar's bellows with a three-band EQ, integrated tuner, notch filter for feedback suppression and a phase reversal button. The guitar comes in a case.
