Behringer SU9920

Effects Processor / HN254073
The Behringer SU9920 is a two-channel enhancer/exciter signal processor.

The SU9920 is a professional signal processor that can improve the clarity and vibrancy of audio signals of all types, adding an extra dimension to your music that will make your performances and recordings come alive! The SU9920 achieves this with a special dynamic filter and a three-band phase delay algorithm that add clarity, depth and punch - without any unnatural side effects.

Because the SU9920 has 2 independent channels, you can process a stereo signal or 2 mono signals individually, such as bass guitar in one channel - and keys, vocals or guitar in the other. The SONIC ULTRAMIZER SU9920 is the perfect tool for sound enhancement in home and professional recording studios, DJ systems, PA systems, and digital content creation or broadcasting.

Music consists of highly complex sound waves that cover a wide range of harmonic frequencies. No matter how good your sound system is, reproducing music with all its intricate details is an art that often requires something extra - something we call "magic". The SU9920 delivers a healthy dose of sonic magic with 2 simple controls (Process and Low Contour) that compensate for differences in phase and amplitude that occur between these frequencies during amplification - anomalies that can take the shine off an otherwise perfect performance. The SU9920 lets you dial in the perfect sound every time, both in the studio and in front of a live audience. Surprisingly affordable and easy to use, the SU9920 will bring your music to life with articulate mids, sparkling highs and super-dense lows!

In a studio environment, the SU9920 delivers enhanced crispness and clarity to your recordings and is the ideal choice for mastering all your projects. Even if you work primarily with a DAW, you can easily add a touch of professional high-end polish to your music by using the remarkable SU9920 during the final mastering process. Of course, the same is true in live sound reinforcement. The Process potentiometer determines how much of the high-frequency content will be processed (maximum level boost of +12 dBu at 5 kHz), and similarly, the Low Contour potentiometer controls how much of the low-frequency content will be processed (maximum level boost of +12 dBu at 50 Hz). With these two simple controls, you can greatly improve signal quality and get the best out of your sound system.
