The Paranormal Esquire Deluxe MN BPG Mbk illustrates what the first Fender electric guitar design might have looked like if it had been manufactured and developed in factories as far back as the 1970s.
The body of the guitar is made of okoumé. The neck with a comfortable C profile and the fingerboard of the instrument are made of maple. The fingerboard surface is divided by twenty-one Narrow Tall frets and black position dots.
The true essence of the 1970s is represented by the Fender-Designed Wide Range humbucker. The character of the sound can be adjusted using the volume and tone shutter potentiometers. A three-position switch allows the first position to "bypass" the tone diaphragm circuit, while the third position offers a split-coil configuration, i.e. only the humbucker's inner coil is active. The strings are mounted in the company's vintage-style mechanicals and via a six-steel saddle through the body. The stylish finish is accentuated by a three-layer black pickguard and the Squier Esquire Deluxe logo on the headstock.
