The next update added several new features and fixes. Highlights include:
- Touch FX. Touch FX lets you easily create and extend build-ups, drops and transitions using gestures like swiping in any direction. With the ability to capture Touch FX, you can focus on other aspects of the mix while the effect remains active. Various Touch FX are available, such as Filter Echo, Filter Reverb, Filter Roll, LFO Echo, Filter Dub Echo, Filter Gate, Noise Gate, Flanger, LFO Filter and Filter.
- New Main Effects: Denon DJ devices now include 26 new and updated main effects. These effects help DJs build energy, create tension, ease transitions and personalize their performances. New main effects include Echo Out, Swell Verb, Hold Echo, Recycler, Stutter Out, Riser, Pitch Down, Scale Down, Reverb, LFO Verb, Reverb Drop, Reverse Reverb, Reverb Rise, Flanger (-), Beat Break, Backspin, Brake and Roll.
Enhancements and fixes:
- All effects now offer a Frequency parameter that allows you to apply the effect to a specific frequency range.
- Sampler Updates:
- Audio from the sampler can be routed to any available channel or to the main output. To change the sampler routing, open the Settings and select the Mixer tab.
- Sampler pad mode is also now accessible by pressing the ROLL button twice without holding down the Shift button. (Denon DJ Hardware)
- The sampler volume setting is now preserved between power-ups.
- Added the ability to read Smartlists created in Engine DJ (Desktop).
- Fixed: Song previews can now be redirected directly to headphones for instant listening of song previews without a preset Cue source. (PRIME 4)
- Adjusted the wording of the effect parameter refresh settings to make it clearer.
- Fixed: Fixed an issue where the "Add Date" field incorrectly set newly added tracks to the day before.
- Fixed: Fixed an issue where the internal hard drive did not appear as a source immediately after an update.
- Fixed: Fixed an issue where a song remained in the Prepare list when loading on deck in certain situations.
- Improved peak maintaining behavior on all products with VU meters.
- Other miscellaneous stability improvements and enhancements
