The V100PU1270 single-cut LP electric guitar is a Vintage Pro Shop instrument. Similar to the V100 guitars in the Icon series, it offers the refined design and feel of instruments played over the years, i.e. subtler and more pronounced elements of faux patina hardware and a distinctive black lacquer finish (Distressed finish).
The body of the guitar is made of mahogany. A fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium-sized frets is glued to the also mahogany neck with a pleasing "Soft C" profile. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by position blocks.
Two Bare Knuckle Old Guard humbuckers with Alnico 2 magnets give the guitar a warm tone and responsive playing dynamics. The instrument's sound will stand out in a variety of musical genres - blues, rock, country and pop. The character of the tone can be adjusted with two volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch.
The strings are mounted in Grover tuning machines and a licensed Bigsby tremolo. A set of chrome-plated strap locks ensures a secure fit for the strap in all circumstances. The guitar is supplied in packaging along with a guitar strap and certificate of authenticity.
At a very attractive price, Vintage's electric guitars offer excellent workmanship and performance that you would find in much more expensive models.
