Roland has come up with the second version of its TD-17KVX2 series of electronic drums. At the heart of the kit is an improved TD-17 module with an upgraded set of sounds based on Roland's flagship TD-50. It offers more than 300 high-quality percussion sounds and 100 drum kits that can be further easily edited. Also new is the ability to import your own samples. Combined with pre-recorded sounds and their easy editing, endless creative possibilities open up, which you can also record to a regular SD card.

Top performance, top set up, top connectivity
The Roland TD-17KVX2 is the top model of the entire TD-17 series, so you can expect all the functionality of the lower models, but with many innovations. There's a KD-10 bass pad, an 12" PDX snare drum, an 8" PDX floor tom and two 8" PDX rack toms. Cymbals include a 10" VH Hi-Hat, two 12" CY Crashes and a 14" CY Ride. Bonus is MDS ramp. There is a Bluetooth interface for streaming music or MIDI files from smartphones and tablets, so you can easily practice, record or play along with your favorite music.

New type of cymbals for even better playing enjoyment
The TD-17KV2 is equipped with a new type of cymbals that are significantly thinner and feature a multi-sensor system for an even more authentic response. As an added bonus, they can be damped with the classic edge grip familiar from classic cymbals.
