Fender's Aerodyne Special Series electric guitars offer a contemporary take on classic Fender design. Aerodynamic curves, custom-tuned pickups, state-of-the-art hardware and cool color finishes shape instruments that will be both instantly familiar and radically new.
The lime body of the Aerodyne Special Stratocaster California Blue electric guitar is covered in a glossy polyester lacquer. The "Modern C" profile maple neck and 12-inch radius ensure easy and comfortable movement across the entire fingerboard. The fingerboard itself is fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets and imitation mother-of-pearl position dots.
Three vintage-voiced single-coil pickups give the guitar classic Fender tone and feel. Adjust the character of the sound with the volume potentiometer, two tone controls and a five-position pickup switch. Stable tuning and quick string changes are guaranteed by the Deluxe Cast/Sealed Locking mechanism, while the strings on the other side are held in a Babicz Z-Series FCH-2 Point Tremolo. Nice workmanship is emphasized by the body trim, colour-coordinated headstock and body and chrome hardware.
The guitar comes in a deluxe gig bag.
