LARSEN Il Cannone Cello Set Warm & Broad

The new Il Cannone cello strings from Larsen were named after the nickname of the instrument of the famous Paganini, made by Giuseppe Guarneri. Their sound is truly revolutionary. Throughout the development process, Larsen always strives to produce exceptional strings, but it couldn't be done without testing with practicing musicians. Feedback from musicians has confirmed that the playability and feel on the fingerboard is excellent and the strings have good bow response.

These strings provide a noble and powerful tone whose attack is almost "biting". The sound spectrum is highly tonal with many intricate aliquots. The tone is transparent, the sound is open and brilliant. The bow response is also very fast and easy, especially in the spicatto.

They are designed to bring out the best of each instrument at all times. That's why the individual Il Cannone strings and sets are available in two versions. The Direct&Focused variant has a more focused and penetrating sound, while the Warm&Broad variant provides a softer, pleasantly warm sound. The strings from these sets can be combined freely, allowing you to create your absolutely ideal set.

The C and G strings feature a steel wire core with a special tungsten winding, while the D and A strings have a solid steel core and stainless steel flat wire winding.
