The Fender PR-180E is an electroacoustic round-neck resonator whose sound stands out in both traditional and modern musical styles. The laminated mahogany body offers the balance of warmth and clarity needed for fingerstyle playing, while the spider cone resonator provides the good sustain essential for a bluegrass sound. A walnut fingerboard fitted with nineteen frets is glued to a mahogany neck with a "Small V" profile. The strings are anchored in open nickel mechanics and stringers (trapeze) via a bone zero fret. The stylish workmanship is accentuated by the Aged Cognac Burst finish, snowflake position markers on the fingerboard, two F holes and nickel hardware.
Fitted with a Fishman Nashville passive pickup, it guarantees quality amplification of the instrument's natural acoustic sound. The resonator comes in a carrying case.
