The English brand Origin Effects represents another interesting concept in the field of contemporary manufacturers of hand made pedal effects. Unlike many other products, Origin Effects pedal effects do not refer to the past and boutique design, but reflect the needs of contemporary musicians in terms of functionality and durability. Each product undergoes a complex process (from hand soldering and assembling the individual components, calibration with an audio analyzer, fitting them into a durable brushed steel chassis, testing the final product with a guitar/bass, to an output check confirmed by a handwritten serial number on the box). You can therefore be sure that only a product that meets the brand's high standards will reach you.

The BassRIG Super Vintage model houses a perfect analogue scale representation of the entire tube bass amplifier circuit, allowing you to sculpt your dream sound in detail. At the same time, this pedal pays homage to the legendary Ampeg SVT 8x10 speaker bass amplifier, which was first produced in 1969 and is still the obvious choice of many of the most famous bassists around the world. In this pedal, you'll find the sonic features that have made this amp its reputation, so you can enjoy huge versatility, thick bass or punchy distortion in a very compact package.

On the control panel you'll find traditional output level settings, distortion level and a Blend potentiometer that lets you adjust the ratio of clean to distorted sound. There's also a three-band EQ with selectable centre frequencies and LO CUT, which suppresses extra deep frequencies to add clarity to the bass even with heavy distortion, or ULTRA HI, which adds extra high frequencies to the sound. Of course, there's also the HF or LF filter and Horn Cut, which allow you to achieve a superior sound with virtually any speaker.

In addition to the traditional amp output, the pedal also features a DI XLR output with 8x10 speaker simulation.
