The front of the Grand Auditorium Gc-CW is made from solid Master Grade Western Red Cedar, while the back and sides are made from black walnut. The Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, a full-pore, high-gloss lacquer finish, enhances the acoustic properties of the guitars, providing excellent surface protection and accentuating the wood's natural texture. The Furch CNR System's two-way neck bracing adds strength, stability and durability.
The guitar's refined look is enhanced by the body binding, the centre strip of the back plate and maple end block decoration, the black walnut soundboard with black and white lines, the decorative black walnut rosette and ebony pegs to the fingerboard. The transparent pickguard lets the natural grain of the wood stand out while not affecting the resonance of the soundboard. Orientation on the exotic Ziricote fingerboard is facilitated by decorative mother-of-pearl position markers (Eclipse design). Stable tuning is guaranteed by high-quality Gotoh 510 Nickel Patina mechanics with ebony pegs.
