The new Zoom B6 bass multieffect is equipped with up to twice the power of competing models, making it one of the most advanced bass multieffects on the market when combined with the simulation of four iconic DI boxes and a plethora of high-end simulations, effects and features.

At its core are 11 simulations of legendary bass guitar amps, complete with all-new models, which alone will give you huge sonic variability. These are complemented by 12 models of iconic loudspeakers, each offering three microphone pickup positions. Then there's the arsenal of traditional effects from the Zoom collection, complemented by 10 new models.

All of these features can be controlled via a clear 4.3" touchscreen display that can be switched into four modes. The first mode allows you to easily create and edit custom signal paths with any placement of individual effect elements. Individual effects can then be switched on and off using the associated footswitches. The second mode allows you to conveniently jump between individual sound presets and banks, the third is ideal especially for organizing individual effects or banks, and the fourth is used to control the looper function. The latter provides you with the ability to layer individual tracks and a recording time of up to 45 seconds, which can be extended up to two hours if required using an SD card. Also available is an auto drummer function that features 68 rhythms in a variety of musical genres, tempos and beats.

Unique then is the DI section, for example, which provides you with carefully crafted models of four iconic DI boxes, greatly expanding the sonic possibilities of this multieffect. You can choose from its tube DI box - which adds rich harmonies and thick bass to the sound, or, conversely, clarity and predation with focused bass - and two transistor DI boxes, which give you the choice of subtle, beautifully clear distortion, or mild compression and great projection of a wide frequency spectrum, which will be especially pleasing to players of acoustic instruments or double basses with piezo pickups.

The effect features two independent input jacks, which you can switch between using the footswitch. Each input has an adjustable resistance with values of 1M and 10M ohms, so you can handle not only electric basses, but also synthesizers, acoustic basses and double basses. Of course, there are also a wide range of connectivity options, such as XLR DI output, headphone output, aux input, effects loop, external controller input, USB connectivity and an adapter for the BTA-1 Bluetooth controller so you can control the unit with your smartphone.
