The instrument is fitted with two Ibanez passive pickups, specifically PowerSpan Dual Coil humbuckers, and the sound from them can be controlled with the Volume, Balance potentiometer and an active three-band EQ, complete with a Power Tap switch. The strings are anchored in an Accucast B120 type headstock with a 19 millimeter string spacing.
