The toms are made from two layers of maple and four layers of birch (6mm), while the bass drum is made from two layers of maple and five layers of birch (7mm). Sonically, this set has the warmth of maple and the clarity and clarity of birch. The sound is clear, penetrating and balanced.

Not only the tuning, but also the hoops used contribute to the sound. This is why the designers at Tama have paid particular attention to this element. On this set, you'll find hoops made of die-cast zinc, which are denser and provide a more regular shape than traditional, bent hoops. Tuning is more precise and consistent as a result, and sonically the drums will provide a stronger sound of rim hits, a more piercing attack or clean and strongly resonant highs.

The package also includes hardware from the Star-Cast series, which is renowned for its stability and great resonance. The new design also allows the toms to be placed closer together, making playing even more comfortable.
